Boluda destina dos nuevos remolcadores al Puerto de Zeebrugge

La naviera Boluda Towage Europe ha recibido dos nuevos remolcadores por parte del astillero Damen Shipyards Group. Las embarcaciones ‘VB Bolero’ y ‘VB Rumba’ han arribado en el Puerto de Rotterdam (Países Bajos), pero se destinarán al Puerto de Zeebrugge (Bélgica).

Una vez allí, ambas embarcaciones comenzarán a operar a partir de este mes de diciembre, aumentando así la flota de Boluda, quien cuenta con 81 remolcadores repartidos en Países Bajos, Alemania, Bélgica y Reino Unido.

No se trata de la única novedad de la naviera, sino que Boluda Towage Europe ha conseguido extender la concesión del servicio de remolque un total de ocho años en el enclave flamenco, donde añadirá un servicio con ocho remolcadores certificados el próximo mes de enero. Se trata de embarcaciones que destacan por sus altos estándares en la detección de incendios.

Por su parte, el ‘VB Bolero’ y el ‘VB Rumba son dos remolcadores ASD 2813, con un tiro a punto fijo de 85 toneladas, los cuales cumplen con los requisitos medioambientales más recientes de emisiones Tier III de la IMO y que incluyen el FIFI 1 y el sistema de reducción de NOX de Damen.

En cuanto a la actividad de Boluda en España, cabe destacar que el operador marítimo ha integrado un nuevo corredor intermodal diario con Canarias para el tráfico de mercancías. En concreto, la naviera ha aumentado las conexiones ferroviarias con un nuevo servicio que unirá Madrid con Sevilla, el cual se enlazará también a las conexiones ferroviarias que opera con la filial Boluda Rail.
